Smart little cookie

As most of you know, B LOVES letters, words, etc.  I bought him some DVD's called Meet the Sight Words and he loves them.  One of them came with this book.  We read it twice and then all of a sudden he was reading it by himself.  I highly recommend these videos.  They also have them for letters, numbers, shapes, colors, etc.  http://www.preschoolprepco.com/h/i/index.php

B-man is almost potty trained!!! Woo hoo!! He has been wearing underwear for almost 2 weeks now and hasn't had an accident in days! He still wears a diaper at naps and bedtime, but it's so nice to be on the road to being diaper free!! It's about time!!

Mardi Gras Party

Our neighbors had a Mardi Gras party this weekend!  Lots of fun!!

Fort Worth Zoo

B-Man and I drove to Fort Worth this weekend for his 6 week eye follow up.  Everything looks great!!  We wont go back to the eye doctor for 3 months!!

His doctor is very close to the Fort Worth Zoo so we went there after his appt.  My dad met us there and we had lots of fun.  His favorite animals this trip were the monkeys and alligators.  

I am glad we went to the Zoo when we did, because afterwards, he got sick (cough, runny nose, low 

fever) so we didnt get to do anything else fun before we drove back today.  Guess we will be going to the pediatrician tomorrow!  =(
